General Notes: Husband - James Kerr
He came from Frankstown, Blair County, Pennsylvania, and settled in the early years of the 1800's on what became the McCombs place, south of Woodlawn cemetery, in Oil Creek Township, Crawford County.
His brother Samuel had located a farm for him just west of Titusville, Pennsylvania. He settled there, building his cabin in the valley of Oil Creek, near property later owned by James McCombs. He was a farmer, a Presbyterian, and for many years a Justice of the Peace.
