General Notes: Husband - John McAllister

---

He owned a large plantation near Winchester, Virginia, called Greenwood Mills. At his death he willed it to his sister, Betsey (McAllister) Bush. He owned a large amount of property in Tennessee, and must have lived there for some time. He was in the nail manufactory with his father.
