General Notes: Husband - David M. Johnson

He was reared on the farm, attended the common schools and in 1883 purchased his own farm of two hundred and thirty-eight acres in Nicholson township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. This farm, then unimproved, became one of the best improved farms in the township. In 1898 he erected a modern residence.
He was a Republican in politics and he and his wife were members of the Mennonite church.
