General Notes: Husband - Charles Clyde Kelso


He was a graduate of Geneva College, also spent some time at Westminster College at New Wilmington, and became principal of the Sharpsburg schools.

He received his preparatory education in the public schools of Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and in 1896 graduated at Geneva College. For five years before entering college he had been engaged in teaching, and after his graduation practised that profession. In 1896 he was elected principal of the Turtle Creek school, and in 1897 was chosen to fill that office in the Tarentum high school, serving one year. He then served two years as principal of the common school, and in April, 1900, was elected principal of the Sharpsburg public school.
