General Notes: Husband - Rev. Robert Ayres
He was one of the early ministers of Franklin, Pennsylvania. He came from Fayette County, Pennsylvania, and made his advent on horseback with his family, and was long a prominent figure in society there. He was an Episcopal minister, but gave his attention chiefly to teaching, being one of the teachers in the old academy. He was a very precise man, and always maintained himself with great dignity. His home was on the corner of Liberty and Eleventh streets.
