General Notes: Husband - John Keller

Civil War: in August, 1862, he enlisted in Co. F, one hundred and fifty-fifth reg. Pa. Vols. and served until the beginning of 1863 until an attack of inflammatory rheumatism caused the loss of the use of his feet and he was therefore discharged. He took part in the battles of Antietam, Fredericksburg and some minor engagements.

He received a common school education and learned the trade of a miller, which he followed for some time but later turned his attention to farming. In politics he was a republican and was a member of the Royal Arcanum at Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
