General Notes: Husband - Martin L. Keck


He was reared and educated in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, and was a printer by trade but became a hotel man, spending many years in hotels and summer resorts. He was the first man to introduce and adopt electric bells, electric light and natural gas throughout a hotel in Greensburg\emdash the Laird House. He subsequently had charge of the Ligonier House, which was the leading hotel of that place.
