General Notes: Husband - William Bryant Jack
He obtained his early education in the district schools, later becoming a student at the Eldersridge Academy. Then he taught school for two years in Blacklick and Young townships, Indiana County, before settling down to farming with his father on the home farm. Mr. Jack helped his father with the farm work until the latter died, and he became the owner of the home place of 136 acres, which was under a high state of cultivation. He was also a stockholder in the Farmers' Telephone Company of Blacklick Township. He was a Republican, and served on the township committee of his party. For eleven years or more he was township auditor. Like many members of the family he was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church.
