General Notes: Husband - Christian Keck
He was born in Würtemberg, Germany. [HWC 1906 ii, 63] There appears to be confusion in the sources between Wittenberg and Würtemberg.
He was a farmer and followed agricultural pursuits in his native land until 1869. He was a man sixty-three years of age at this time, but nevertheless emigrated from the home country and settled in the United States, making his home in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. [ONW, 1328]
He was a regular attendant and strict member of the Evangelical Lutheran church.
He died in the "Fatherland." [BHCWC, 104]
He and his wife had ten children; nine were still living in 1890; six were still living in 1906.
