General Notes: Husband - Patrick Jack
He was born in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, of Irish parents, and came to what is now Black-lick township, Indiana County, in 1789. He had been a captain in the Revolutionary army. He came into possession of the Jack farm in 1791, the date of the patent. Daniel Rossiter was the party in whose name the warrant was issued, its date being 1773.
He was born in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, and about the year 1786 he moved to Westmoreland County, settling near Mount Pleasant. Then he came to the southern part of Indiana County, in 1791, settling on a farm on Aultman's run in Blacklick township, where he spent the remainder of his days.
He was one of the first ruling elders of Ebenezer congregation in Indiana County.
