General Notes: Husband - James McComb Jack
He was born on Aultman's run in Blacklick township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, where he resided with his parents, growing to manhood on the home farm and assisting his father in its cultivation. He followed farming and stock raising all his life, residing on the old farm which has been in the family for so many years and a part of which came into his possession upon the death of his father. He was a Republican in politics and served the township many years as school director. In religious connection he was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church, which he served as elder.

From the state of Maine, she was a music teacher in the Blairsville, Pennsylvania, Female Seminary for some years previous to her marriage.
