General Notes: Husband - Samuel Irwin

In the forests of Indiana County, Pennsylvania, he developed a good farm, and also engaged in lumbering.

For two years he served his country during the dark days of the Rebellion, and was finally discharged on account of disability. He never recovered from the effects of his army service, and it led to his death.
