General Notes: Husband - Edwin Miles

He was born in Chester County, PA, and in 1840 removed to Blair County, PA, where he was connected for many years with the “Juniata Forge and Iron Company.” From Blair County he re­moved to Pittsburgh. He was engaged in the rolling-mill and furnace business and for some years and was the chairman of the “Charlotte Furnace Company,” limited. He was a regular attendant at and a liberal contributor to the Sandusky street Baptist church, of Pittsburgh.
