General Notes: Husband - Edgar H. Austin

Civil War: he enlisted Aug. 14, 1862, in Co. B, 145th P. V. I., and participated in the battles at Antietam, Fredericksburg, Spottsylvania, Chancellorsville, Wilderness, Cold Harbor, Petersburg and Gettysburg; he received a very severe wound in the head at Deep Bottom, VA, and in the thigh at Petersburg, and was honorably discharged May 31, 1865.
