General Notes: Husband - Adam Kuhn
He was born at what was known as Kuhn's Landing, on the Youghiogheny river, above McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He was one of the oil operators on the discovery of oil in Pennsylvania, and was a merchant in Parker, Armstrong County, and Altoona, Blair County. Later he was living on a farm in Westmoreland County.
He conducted a variety store in Altoona, Pennsylvania, for a number of years, later retired and lived on a farm at Claridge. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and a Republican in politics.
