General Notes: Husband - John Washington Jellison

He was a native of New Lisbon, Ohio, and passed his active years at Apollo, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, as a farmer and a furnace puddler.
He was educated at New Lisbon, Ohio, where he followed his trade of a steel puddler, settling at Apollo while still a young man. In 1861 he enlisted, at Kittanning, Pennsylvania, in a state regiment of cavalry, and served his term as a prisoner at Libby. He was an honored Mason.
