General Notes: Husband - William Jamison
He came to America with his parents in 1847, landing in New York April 14. In July of the same year they came by canal as far as Buffalo, NY, and from there to Erie in a boat, then on foot to Irishtown, Mercer County.
He was assessor of Worth township twice, and a member of the Stoneboro Agricultural Society beginning at its organization, having been one of its directors, and exhibited a great deal of stock, horses and sheep, and other products of the farm. He was a Republican for many years and then became a supporter of the Prohibition party. He and family were members of Ebenezer United Presbyterian Church, of which he was a deacon.
