General Notes: Husband - Hugh Jamison


He and his brother, James, inherited the old family homestead and there they passed their lives.
A farmer by occupation, he taught for many winters in the public schools near his home.
He fought in the War of 1812, holding a commission as adjutant, and as time passed he became a man of great influence in his community.
