General Notes: Husband - John Henry Kocher


He was born on his parents' farm in Jackson Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and there his entire life was spent. He was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Zelienople, serving the church for more than thirty years as a member of the vestry, and for a greater part of the time being presiding officer.

Of his first marriage there were six children, of whom five were still living in 1909. The offspring of the second marriage also numbered six children, there being four survivors in 1909.
