General Notes: Husband - Silas P. Knarr
He was educated in the grade and high schools of DuBois, Pennsylvania, and the DuBois Business College. From 1900 he was associated with the Union Bank & Trust Company, and remained with that institution thirteen years. He then started serving as executor of his father's estate, managing the various real estate holdings as well as operating the dairy farm in Brady Township near Luthersburg. Later, however, his brother, Burt E. Knarr, assumed full charge of the farm and the retail dairy business. Silas P. Knarr was a member of the Kiwanis Club and prominent in community life and affairs.
