General Notes: Husband - William Jackman
He spent his early life on his father's farm, and at his death managed it for himself. In 1878 he opened a grocery store in what was then known as West Bellevue, which he conducted successfully for twelve years. After retiring from mercantile life, he directed his attention to his property and real estate.
