General Notes: Husband - S. A. Weigel
He was seventeen years of age when he entered the employ of the Pittsburgh & Western Railroad Company as a telegraph operator. He was later connected with the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad as agent at Foxburg, Pennsylvania, and beginning about 1910 was with the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company at Zelienople, Pennsylvania.
Politically Mr. Weigel was a Republican, and he served as school director for fifteen years or more. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Mr. Weigel was greatly interested in Indian relics and had a splendid collection of thousands of arrows, hatchets, and other specimens of Indian warfare. He was identified with the Pennsylvania Historical Society.
