Ridgway, Elk Co, PA

In early life he became his father's associate in the manufacturing business and was identified with the same interests. He was vice-president of The Hyde & Murphy Company. He was also vice-president of the Ridgway Realty Company.
He was a member of the Masonic order, belonging to Ridgway Lodge, No. 279, Free and Accented Masons; Elk Chapter, No. 230, Royal Arch Masons; Knapp Commandery, No. 40, Knights Templar; Zem Zem Temple, Erie, Pennsylvania, Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. He also belonged to Lodge No. 872, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, and was a member of the Young Men's Christian Association of Ridgway.
