William M'Bride, son of R. M. M'Bride Met Death While Working
A most distressing accident occurred on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh, which resulted in the death of William A. McBride, aged 37 years, of that place.
Mr. McBride was a machinist and while at work at the Nestall Gear Works, on a raised platform, it is supposed that he came in contact with an electric wire. The shock caused him to fall fracturing his skull. He never regained consciousness, but passed away a few hours later at the Allegheny General Hospital, where he was conveyed after the accident.
He was a member and also an elder in the Park Avenue Presbyterian church of Pittsburgh. His wife was formerly Miss Eva Kildoo of Rose Point, and she with their two little sons, Percy and Robert Paul, are left to mourn the loss of the kindest husbands and father.
Mr. McBride is survived by his father, R. M. McBride, of this city, his mother having passed away about two years ago, also by his sisters, Mrs. William McCune, of Plain Grove; Mrs. G. N. Clarke, Mrs. William White, Miss Fannie and Myra McBride and one brother, Reed McBride, all of this city.
Funeral services will be conducted from the residence of his father, R. M. McBride, 38 County Line street, on tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Internment at Graceland Cemetery on wednesday morning.
