General Notes: Husband - Thomas McQuillen
During the greater part of his life he was a charcoal burner, later becoming gate watchman on the Tyrone-Clearfield branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a Republican, and an active member of the Methodist Episcopal church. He possessed a fine voice and delighted to sing the hymns dear to him from their nature and associations.
When he had attained the advanced age of eighty-four years, he was accidentally killed by a passenger train.
