General Notes: Husband - Gideon Emory Hukill
He was a farmer by occupation. Shortly after his marriage he settled on a farm near Cantwell's Bridge (now Odessa), New Castle County, Delaware, but in 1834 removed to another farm in Thoroughfare Neck, where he remained until 1836, when he removed again to the old Andrew McMurphy farm near Blackbird. The following year he again moved and went to the old home farm about three miles southeast of Blackbird where he remained until his death.
In 1864 the family settled permanently in Odessa.
