General Notes: Husband - William A. McKinney

His education was acquired in the public schools of McCandless township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and when he attained manhood he went to Pine township and there ran a threshing machine through that section of the country. In 1896 he bought a farm of ninety-two acres, remodeled the house and made additions to it and the barn, and set out an orchard. He engaged in general farming and stock raising. He served as school director, and later in office as supervisor. He was a member of the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church, which he served as trustee for about twenty-six years.
