Mrs. Nellie Irene Hovis.
Mrs. Nellies Irene Hovis, widow of Emanuel Hovis, died at her home in Irwin township quite suddenly on Friday morning at 12:55 from appoplexy.
Mrs. Hovis was the daughter of of George and Mary Hussellon. She was born in Butler, Pa. April 9, 1870. Surviving are five children\emdash Edward, of Polk; Harry, of Wesley; Mrs. B. H. Reynolds, of Franklin; Cleauthus and Budd at home.
Mrs. Hovis was a member of the Pleasant View Methodist Episcopal church.
Services were held Sunday, at 2 o'clock in the Amity church. Rev. Nicholson officiating. Interment was in the Amity cemetery.
