General Notes: Husband - John Alvin Householder
He received a common-school education, and at twenty-two years of age learned the carpenter's trade at Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. In 1884 he came to Verona, where he became a thorough mechanic.
He and his wife were members of the M. E. Church. Mr. Householder was a republican, and a member of the Carpenters' Union.
