General Notes: Husband - Peter Clawson

He was a farmer of Bell township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and spent much of his time in boating on the old canal. He was an ardent Democrat, and a devoted member of the Lutheran church.

He and his wife had a family of seven children; five were living in 1890, two girls and three
boys.
