General Notes: Husband - Thomas Parks


He attended the public schools of Allegheny city, Pennsylvania, for several years and then learned the brick-making business. In 1867 he located in Greensburg, but in 1873 removed to Paradise, where he resided and operated a large brick-yard. He was a partner with his brother, W. B. Parks, in the flouring-mill business. They owned and operated the Greensburg Roller Mills.
He was a democrat in political sentiment and was always been a regular attendant of the services of the Methodist Episcopal church.
