General Notes: Husband - John Zollinger, Sr.
John Sullinger, a deceased pioneer of Rockland Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, was a native of Westmoreland County. He married Lovina Judge of that county, and in 1805 came to Venango County and settled on a four hundred acre tract of land in Rockland township. In 1813 he brought out his wife and family. He was a soldier in the Revolution, and followed the trade of weaver. He died at the advanced age of ninety-one years. His wife died some years previously. [HVC, 1120]
He and his wife were natives of York County, Pennsylvania, who settled in Little Sweetly, Westmoreland County. Their family consisted of sixteen children, all were dead in 1889 except Jacob. [HAC 1889 II, 648]
