He located in Woodcock Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, about 1812, on the farm later owned by his grandson, Darius. Here he built a log-cabin and cleared about seven acres, subsequently removing to Cambridge Township, where he died. He, with his sons\emdash Samuel, Norman and Hezekiah\emdash came to this county at the same time.
