General Notes: Husband - William Hepburn

He came to Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, about 1806, and was one of its first settlers. He married and after her death went to Lycoming County, where he married again. About 1824 they took up their residence on the farm where Mr. Hepburn had previously located. He transformed the wild land into a valuable property, and built a comfortable home. He died on this farm in the faith of the Presbyterian Church, of which he was long a member.
