General Notes: Husband - George Thompson
He was of Scotch and Irish extraction.
He was a farmer and moved to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, early in the eighteen-forties, locating in Pymatuning township, where he spent the remainder of his days. He was a Whig in politics and the family were all members of the Presbyterian church.
He and his wife were the parents of thirteen children, nine of whom lived to manhood and womanhood.
