General Notes: Husband - Frank Chamberlain Perrott
He was educated in the public schools of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and at Duff's Business College, Pittsburgh, and then went to work with the Howard Stove Company of Beaver Falls, of which concern his father had been one of the founders in 1882 and president and treasurer until it was sold to other interests. He remained with this firm until 1906, when he removed first to Chicago, Illinois, and later to Connellsville, Pennsylvania, in which later place he was engaged in the tube business. In 1912, in association with his father, he founded the Perrott Manufacturing Company at Beaver Falls for the manufacture of rubber stair treads. He was the secretary and treasurer of the company from its inception, his father, James D. Perrott, holding the office of president, and under his management the company met with marked and steadily mounting success. In spite of the heavy demands made upon his time and energy by his business responsibilities he found it possible to be quite active in the affairs of the Masonic Order, and he was a member of Lodge No. 478, Free and Accepted Masons; New Castle Consistory, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite; and Pittsburgh Temple, Ancient Arabic Order Nobles of the Mystic Shrine. In politics he was a supporter of the Republican Party, while his religious affiliations were with the Presbyterian Church.
