General Notes: Husband - Jacob Stauffer
He was born in Germany, there grew to manhood and married. He immigrated to Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, but later removed with his family to the vicinity of Har-mony, Butler County, where he purchased 200 acres of land, and resided on it until his death. He lived to a very advanced age. He was a member of the Mennonite church, and in politics, an adherent of the Republican party.
