General Notes: Husband - William Armstrong


He was the oldest child of a large family, and was reared on the farm in Cumberland Township, Greene County, Pennsylvania, where he attended the subscription schools.
He made farming the business of his life, met with great success, and at the time of his death was the owner of a well-improved farm in Cumberland Township. In politics he was a Democrat; in religion a Cumberland Presbyterian.
