General Notes: Husband - Hugh Marshall
He was the early pioneer of the family in America, coming from Ireland about 1790, he located in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. In 1796 he settled in Big Beaver township, Beaver County, where he purchased a tract of land containing 400 acres. He married and was the father of four sons, one dying when young. He remained on his property until his death, previous to which he divided his land among his three sons, each receiving 100 acres, he reserving the remaining 100 acres until his death.
