General Notes: Husband - Thomas Hill

He was ten years old when his parents settled in Union Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and there he completed his education. He always took considerable interest in politics and for years filled township offices, serving as treasurer, clerk and auditor, and in the fall of 1908 he was elected a county commissioner. With his family he was a member of the Mingo Presbyterian Church and belonged to its official board. He was also identified with the Fraternal Order of Elks.
