General Notes: Husband - Samuel Kinnear
He came with his parents to Pickaway County, Ohio, in 1806. As a young man he was a clerk in a store, in 1824, he succeeded his brother, David, in the office of County Surveyor until the spring of 1831, he was appointed Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, Pro tem. In 1833 he removed to Franklin County, Ohio, and kept a hotel on his farm, which became a part of Columbus - the farm was then several miles north of Columbus. He served as Justice of the Peace in Franklin County thirty eight years, he was an excellent officer and accumulated considerable property.
