He moved from the Kennerdell area to Franklin, PA, in 1919. He worked in the oil business. There is a gravestone for him in the Melat-Hanby cemetery, but no date of death is inscribed. It is possible that after the death of his third wife he went to live with one of his daughters in Indiana and perhaps he died and was buried there.
