General Notes: Husband - Peter Whitehead
He spent his entire life at the family homestead, which he inherited, where he engaged in agricultural pursuits. He served one term, as county commissioner of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was a Democrat in politics. He was a member of the Reformed church in the United States and attended services at historic Brush Creek.
