General Notes: Husband - Huston Paul

He was brought up on the home place, and early trained to practical farm life, attending during the winter months the subscription schools of the dis-trict.
He and his wife resided at a mill property, one mile below Amity, in Amwell township, Washington County, and in the autumn of 1833 moved to a farm in South Strabane township.
For some five years he carried on a grist-mill with success; later he owned 240 acres of well-improved land. In politics he was at first an Old-time Whig, and after the organization of the party was a stanch Republican.
