General Notes: Husband - Asahel Lovell
He resided in Venango County, Pennsylvania, after the age of ten years, and was principally engaged in farm-ing. He was fifteen years school director and filled other township offices. A strong Prohibitionist, he was active in the advocacy of that party, and was a member of the Pres-byterian church.
