General Notes: Husband - Harrison B. "Harry" Armbrust
He was educated in the public schools, and for several years was associated with his father at McKeesport, Pennsylvania, learning every detail of the printer's business from type-setting to editorial writing; continuing in the newspaper business for ten years. He then in partnership with C. R. Baker established a news agency and book store in Greensburg, which was successfully conducted for ten years, a picture framing department being added to the original lines, and after disposing of the news agency, paints and oils were substituted. After disposing of that business, the partners, in 1893, established at No. 206 West Otterman street, Greensburg, under the firm name of Baker & Armbrust, a general paint and wallpaper business which they successfully conducted for about twenty years, when Mr. Armbrust became sole proprietor.
He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and in political faith, an Independent.
