General Notes: Husband - Obadiah Miles
He was brought up in Center County, Pennsylvania, and there received a common school education, but his life was mainly passed in Clarion County, where he was a farmer. In politics he was a Democrat.
In 1830 he and his wife came to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, where they raised a family of twelve children.
He was a farmer and first operated land in Limestone township; later in Porter township; finally in Red Bank township, where he spent his last days. In religion, he was a Lutheran.
