General Notes: Husband - John Peterson

---

During a large part of his life he was engaged in the sawmill and coal business. He afterward moved to Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania, where he purchased a farm of about two hundred acres and became a prominent and successful farmer. He was an active member of the Methodist Episcopal church, and for thirty-five years served as superintendent of the Sunday-school.
