General Notes: Husband - John Herr

---

He carried on milling at the mill formerly occupied by his father and built by his grandfather, later owned by John Musselman. John Herr rented this mill to Mr. Gray; Gray put in a conveyor to carry the ground wheat to the bolt; when Gray's rental time had expired John took out the conveyor and said that this made lazy millers, and made them carry it by hand again.
