General Notes: Husband - William Heron
He began life for himself working on a farm when twelve years of age. In 1864 he came to Titusville, Venango County, PA, where he engaged as a pumper in the oil fields. In 1873 he located at Karns City, where he followed the oil industry, and afterwards purchased an interest in a well on the J. B. Campbell farm. He followed producing for some years, and in the spring of 1883 purchased the Campbell farm, consisting of 136 acres, on which he thereafter resided. In politics, he was a Republican. He was a member of Argyle Lodge, Number 540, F. & A. M.
